Feet flat on floor
Your feet should rest flat. If they don't reach, use a footrest rather than raising the chair.
Arms at 90°
Elbows should form a right angle when your hands rest on the keyboard. Adjust armrests to match.

Quick tips
When in doubt, an arm's length away
A good rule of thumb — sit back, extend your arm, and your fingertips should just touch the screen.
Bigger screen, sit further back
A larger monitor fills more of your field of view. Sitting too close causes eye fatigue — scale your distance with your screen size.
Trust your eyes
If you find yourself leaning in to read text, increase your font size rather than moving closer to the screen.
